Auburn has made a splash with off the field personnel this week. Drew Fabianich, who has headed up the Dallas Cowboys scouting department since 2004, will be making a move to The Plains to serve as the General Manager as well as the Director of Football Scouting and Development for the Tigers program.

While many felt that Fabianich could have continued in the NFL after it was announced earlier this offseason that his time in Dallas was over, he instead chooses to get his hands on a big-time college football program in need of some help.
According to Auburn Live and sources inside the program, his role will be “centered around overseeing all facets of recruiting and personnel. Fabianich will provide ultimate direction in those departments, and use his NFL experience to elevate Auburn football’s program.”
Fabianich will finalize his deal with Auburn this week and get to work on trying to improve the program.
