Thursday afternoon, the Senior Bowl unveiled four new player posters outside of their offices in downtown Mobile. What made the posters special, all four players attended high school in the Mobile area. Velus Jones, Jr – Saraland, Neil Farrell – Murphy, Jalen Tolbert – McGill-Toolen and Roger McCreary – Williamson.
Jim Nagy – Executive Director of the Senior Bowl – “How cool is this? I couldn’t imagine growing up in this city and now be permanently up for the next year. To have four Mobile guys and their high school up there prominently, is a really cool thing. It speaks to the level football being played in our area.”
Sherry Farrell – Neil Farrell’s mother – “It’s awesome! To represent where he was born & raised. Couldn’t have a better opportunity like this. No place like home.”
The Senior Bowl also announced tickets for the 2023 game are now on sale. For the first time the Senior Bowl is offering General Admission tickets.
Jim Nagy – “The North End Zone where the players run out, we call it the swag zone. Where the players come off at the end of the game and give their wrist bands, towels and gloves to the kids. We made that all General Admission seating this year.”
