SEC Releases Full 2024 Slate of Opponents

After some leaks came out throughout the afternoon yesterday, the SEC announced the full slate of opponents for each team for 2024. The 2024 season will be the first season in the conference without divisional play as well as the first season that Texas and Oklahoma play in the SEC.

Here is the full slate of opponents for each team:

Alabama will have one of the harder schedules in the entire conference, hosting Georgia and Auburn while going on the road to face Oklahoma, Tennessee, and LSU. Not to mention the fact that the Crimson Tide already have the road portion of a home and home scheduled with Wisconsin for 2024.

As is often the case, the only team in the country to travel to both Tuscaloosa and Athens will be, you guessed it, the Auburn Tigers. Another fascinating nugget is the fact that every team currently in the conference will play one of the newcomers in Texas or Oklahoma, and no one will play both.

As we said yesterday, the marquee matchup of the season will be Georgia coming to Bryant-Denny Stadium to take on Alabama, but we now know Georgia will have to head to Austin to take on Texas as well.

It will be a fantastic 2024 season, and we now have some great matchups to look forward to.
