It’s been a huge recruiting week for Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers, and one of the recruits they landed is from right here in Mobile. Baker WR Bryce Cain announced his commitment to Auburn earlier this week.

Cain stands at 5’11” and weighs 170 pounds and possesses game-breaking 4.4 speed. He immediately becomes a huge piece of Auburn’s 2024 recruiting class. Cain is rated as the 43rd overall player in the state of Alabama for his class.

Auburn also landed another huge recruit yesterday in Booker T. Washington linebacker Joseph Phillips, who they were battling with Georgia for his commitment.

Phillips is the 8th overall recruit in the state of Alabama and the 10th overall linebacker in the nation. The fact that Hugh Freeze was able to land him over both Kirby Smart and Nick Saban speaks volumes about the level of recruiting that Freeze has already brought to The Plains.

Auburn currently has the 29th overall class in the nation for 2024, and that ranking will continue to rise as Freeze keeps bringing in quality players.
