It was the moment everyone had been waiting for all week, with Lane Kiffin taking the podium on the final day of SEC Media days, and he did not disappoint. Kiffin fielded questions about Tennessee’s recent sanctions, his Ole Miss squad, how Paul Finebaum has kept Nick Saban motivated, and much more.
"It's why we have Finebaum, so he can motivate him every other year and say oh his dynasty is over and this is the end of Saban and then we're like hey thanks a lot for pissing him off…" – @Lane_Kiffin #HottyToddy | #SECMD23 pic.twitter.com/eC52qe6JfS

The other two teams to speak on the final day of SEC Media Days were Tennessee and South Carolina. Shane Beamer talked about how his program still has a ways to go when it comes to putting the Gamecocks program in a place where they are competing for championships. Josh Heupel, meanwhile, talked about how the standard at Tennessee is championships and nothing else will be acceptable.
