2025 Saraland star WR and one of the best players in the area Ryan “Hollywood” Williams, who has been committed to Alabama since early October, will be taking an official visit to Athens this weekend and the Georgia Bulldogs. This comes shortly after Georgia landed the #1 player in the class of 2024, QB Dylan Raiola of Phoenix, Arizona.
Williams has shot up recruiting boards over the past eight months or so after a truly ridiculous season for the Spartans where he caught over 1,600 yards, rushed for another 700, and was responsible for 42 touchdowns. He helped to lead Saraland to their first ever 6A state championship along with fellow 2025 class members, QB KJ Lacey and RB Santae McWilliams.
247 has Williams ranked as the third overall player in the class of 2025 and the top receiver in the nation. His unbelievable season led to him being named the Alabama Gatorade player of the year along with being the first ever sophomore to be named Mr. Football in the state of Alabama.
The commitment from Raiola appears to have given Georgia serious momentum on the recruiting trail, and you can understand why. The #2 player in the 2024 class, WR Jeremiah Smith, has also been rumored to be considered a flip to Georgia from Ohio State after Raiola signed on with the Bulldogs.
Losing Williams would be a big blow to Alabama’s 2o25 class and a huge win for Kirby Smart and Georgia. It will certainly be a fascinating recruiting battle to watch play out.
