Auburn quarterback TJ Finley was arrested yesterday morning by Auburn police after attempting to allude them on his moped. Finley, who is in the midst of a quarterback battle that he is not favored to win against Texas A&M transfer Zach Calzada, is reportedly back at practice and the team is aware of the situation according to head coach Bryan Harsin.
Bryan Harsin comments on quarterback T.J. Finley’s arrest during media availability Thursday afternoon as 2022 fall camp begins.

Finley, who was one of the more vocal supporters of coach Harsin during this dramatic offseason where it looked like his job hung in the balance, appears to at least have the support of his head coach after what seems like an unfortunate mistake he made. While not much else is known about the situation as of now, it does not seem like the incident will affect Finley’s status with the team.
