Right after the 2nd Half of the South Alabama Jaguars & Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns game got underway, a cart went racing down Jaguars sidelines. Turns out, South Alabama’s Tight End DJ Thomas-Jones was experiencing an undisclosed medical emergency. Once he was put on the cart, Thomas-Jones taken to a local hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Following the game, Jaguars Head Coach Kane Wommack informed the media, Thomas-Jones had feeling in all of his extremities. On the Monday afternoon Sun Belt Conference Media call Wommack further updated Thomas-Jones’ condition. At this time, Wommack is not sure of his playing status moving forward.
