Sun Belt Commissioner Keith Gill Joins The Opening Kickoff:

Nobody had better weekend in college football this past weekend than Sun Belt commissioner Keith Gill. The Sun Belt Conference had three unbelievable upsets over teams they were not supposed to beat. To add to this craziness, all of them were on the road.

Newcomer to the conference Marshall went on the road to South Bend, Indiana and took down the eighth ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish 26-21. Appalachian State went to College Station and took down the sixth ranked Texas A&M Aggies. And to cap it off, Clay Helton and Georgia Southern went up to Nebraska and forced them to fire head coach Scott Frost by taking down the Huskers to continue Nebraska’s distavorous start to the season.
