The Reese’s Senior Bowl hosted their annual Turkey Bowl event over the weekend on Sunday at Hancock-Whitney Stadium and as always, it was a great success. Over 1000 turkeys were given away in a way for the Senior Bowl to give back to the community, as Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy put it.
The event was attended by NFL Hall of Famer and Vigor legend Robert Brazile as well as former St. Paul’s and Alabama star Mark Barron. Not only is the event awesome for giving away food back to the community, but it extends the Senior Bowl’s reach into youth football, with an 8-11U division for games as well as 12U and Private Schools.
