Tonight the Saraland Spartans (1-0) return to action with their first area game of the season against the Blount Leopards (0-1).
Last week the Spartans rattled off a 35-27 W against 4A #1 Jackson. For Blount it was a 38-6 defeat to arch-nemesis Vigor in the annual ‘Battle of Prichard’.
Saraland was led by signal caller K.J. Lacey and receiver C.D. Gill in an impressive offensive showing. Arterrus Moffett sealed the deal with a big 4th Quarter INT. DT and Auburn Commit Antonio Coleman was inactive in week 1.
Tonight, the Spartans look to extend their 1,428 day home unbeaten streak (10-2-2020, Loss to Spanish Fort).
