NFL Over/Under Win Totals Released

As free agency winds down and the NFL Draft approaches, the outlook for many teams is starting to become much more clear. Over/Under win totals for the season have been released by VegasInsider and Caesar’s Sportsbook, and there are certainly some interesting bets in the NFC South.

After a 7-10 year one under Dennis Allen, the Saints are considered the favorites as of right now after landing who they hope will take them to the next level at the quarterback position in Derek Carr. Both VegasInsider and Caesar’s have the Saints win total set at 9.5, which based on how this past season went, would be more than enough to win them the division if New Orleans were to go over this number.

Perhaps the most surprising line in the division is the lowest total, which comes from the team who has claimed the division the past two seasons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Of course, there is a major factor there in that the man who has led them, Tom Brady, is now retired and the Bucs are replacing him with Baker Mayfield. Not to mention the fact that Tampa Bay severely regressed this past season even with Brady and won the division by the skin of their teeth at 9-8. But to set Tampa’s win total at 6.5, lower than Carolina and Atlanta, is still surprising to read.

Tied for second is both the Falcons and Panthers sitting at 7.5. The Panthers are entering a new era with a new head coach in Frank Reich and now have the #1 pick in the NFL Draft which will surely be used on the quarterback of the future. The Falcons, on the other hand, appear to be staying the course and finding out what they have in Desmond Ridder, barring something unforeseen.

With still nearly a month until the draft, there is still much to be figured out, but the NFL season will be here before we know it!
