The Opening Kickoff was supposed to hit the road Thursday morning for WNSP’s fifth stop on the 2024 Dr. Christopher Mullenix High School Gameday Series, but due to weather concerns, the show was hosted from the studios of WNSP.
Nonetheless, Mark, Lee, and Michael spoke on the phone to representatives from Baker High School including Hornets coaches, players, administrators, and everyone in between ahead of their massive game on Thursday night against Jackson in what will be a huge non-region clash between the two squads.
We were be joined by new Hornets head coach Juan Johnson and talk about the team’s 3-0 start as well as players and special guests! Jackson is off to a 2-1 start and has one of the best quarterbacks in the state, so there will be plenty to discuss!
