Alabama Men’s Basketball is off to a phenomenal start and is sitting at their highest ranking in the AP Poll since 2006. With wins over Michigan State and UNC over Thanksgiving in the Phil knight Invitational, they had already climbed to a top-ten ranking before perhaps the most impressive win of the Nate Oats era at No. 1 Houston.
After big wins last season, Alabama proceeded to lose at Memphis in a beatdown, but they avoided the same fate last night, holding on to beat the Tigers at home this time. The Crimson Tide will take on Gonzaga this Saturday in Birmingham as they try to keep the train rolling before conference play starts in a couple weeks.
