It’s the best week in golf and one of the best weeks in sports as a whole, with all the world’s best players descending on Augusta National for The Masters. One of the players the world of golf will have their eye on is Alabama legend Justin Thomas, who enters the tournament seeking his first Green Jacket as one of the favorites and ranked 10th in the world at the moment.
Thomas is a two-time major champion, winning the PGA Championship in both 2017 and this past year in 2022, but has not done better than 4th at Augusta (2020). He will be looking to change that this year as the 6th favorite to win the tournament at roughly 20/1 odds according to VegasInsider.
The three favorites this week are considered to defending champion Scottie Scheffler, who is the #1 player in the world at the moment, Rory McIlroy, who is looking to complete the career Grand Slam with his first Green Jacket, and John Rahm, who has been arguably the best player on tour this season but also has yet to claim a Green Jacket.
No matter who wins, it is going to be a fantastic tournament as it always is at the world’s most famous golf course.
