In the wake of 1-1 weeks for both the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers, both teams have fallen in the latest version of the AP Top 25.

Alabama, who defeated Ole Miss on the road last Wednesday night before falling at home to Tennessee on Saturday, dropped from No. 14 to No. 16.

Auburn was defeated by Tennessee in Knoxville on Wednesday before dominating Mississippi State on Saturday, but the loss still dropped the Tigers from No. 11 to No. 13.

Both teams have two games left in the regular season, with the first for each on Tuesday evening. Alabama has a road matchup in Gainesville against Florida while Auburn will also hit the road against lowly Missouri, who is 0-16 in conference play.

Both teams end the year this weekend on relatively light notes as well.

Alabama will face Arkansas, who has been one of the biggest disappointments in the conference on Saturday afternoon at home.

Auburn will take on Georgia, who they defeated handily in Athens, at home to close out their regular season.

The big matchup of the week is Tennessee headed to South Carolina on Wednesday night in a game that could decide the SEC regular season title.

The SEC Tournament will soon be upon us as the end of the regular season draws closer and closer.
