Kiffin has answered every question about success but one

There has never been a college football playoff that didn’t involve Lane Kiffin.

That will certainly change next season. At the conclusion of Alabama’s playoff run next month, Kiffin will become the head coach at Florida Atlantic. The Owls have gone 3-9, 3-9 and 3-9 while Alabama was losing only three games over than same period.

So, what to make of Kiffin’s run as Alabama’s offensive coordinator?

For Alabama it has been a complete success. In addition to three straight SEC championships, Alabama’s single-season best rusher, passer and receiver played for Kiffin.

But how successful was it for Kiffin? The fact that he had to settle for one of the least attractive jobs in college football indicates that questions about his personality were not completely answered.

Apparently, it’s going to take a few successful years at one of college football’s most difficult jobs to accomplish that.
