Every Thursday right here you can read Inside the Dome, where we’ll get into a different topic on the Saints/the NFL as a whole, break down the Black and Gold, and talk about where things stand in the shield. In this week’s edition, the Saints have won back to back games and have a great chance to add a third straight this week in Minnesota.
It wasn’t all pretty, but New Orleans ultimately took care of business against the lowly Chicago Bears in a home game last week by a score of 24-17. Taysom Hill was the MVP on offense, rushing for 52 yards on 11 carries along with completing a touchdown pass and catching one as well.
On defense, Paulson Adebo came up huge, intercepting Bears undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent twice. Marcus Maye added a pick as well.
Headed into week 10, the Saints are officially alone atop the NFC South sitting at 5-4 with the Falcons at 4-5 one game behind. New Orleans heads to Atlanta to take on a Vikings team that finds itself in an interesting spot.
With Kirk Cousins out for the season and rookie backup Jaren Hall suffering a injury last week, Minnesota turns to Josh Dobbs, who led the Vikings to a comeback victory over Atlanta last week in relief of Hall.
The Saints are favored by 3 points on the road in what should be a tough game against a team that needs another huge win.
Prediction: Vikings 27 Saints 23
