Georgia Lands #1 QB in the Nation in 2024

Kirby Smart just landed an absolutely massive get in next year’s class by way of the #1 QB in the nation for the 2024 class. Dylan Raiola of Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, AZ is also the #1 player in the nation regardless of position.

Raiola commits to the Bulldogs over Ohio State, Nebraska and USC and immediately becomes the blue chip prize of the class for Kirby Smart. He was initially committed to Ohio State but decided to re-open his recruitment in December. He will come and immediately compete for the starting job at Georgia as one of the highest rated QB recruits in program history.

Raiola stands at 6’3″ and weighs 220 pounds and has amazed scouts with his arm talent and accuracy. He can make every throw on the field and at a school like Georgia, will have a chance to become an absolute superstar. Check out some of his throws:

So what does it all mean for the SEC? Well, not that we thought they were, but Georgia isn’t going anywhere. They won back to back national championships with average quarterback play and Raiola will give them an opportunity to bring their offense to another level.

Alabama landed a star quarterback of their own in the 2o24 class several months ago via Carlsbad, California’s Julian Sayin, who is currently ranked as the 2nd best signal caller in the class and 11th overall player according to 247Composite rankings, but Raiola is on another level, at least on paper

Kirby Smart’s machine keeps on rolling, and Georgia’s future QB outlook just got a whole lot better.
