The Opening Kickoff was on the road on Friday morning for our sixth stop on WNSP’s 2025 Dr. Christopher Mullenix High School Gameday Series, this time marking the fifth week of the season!
We headed out to Murphy High School to talk to Sherman Williams about his first year as the Panthers head coach, the tough start to the season, some of his players, how he hopes to turn the program around during his tenure, and of course their huge region game against the Spanish Fort Toros on Thursday night!
Mark, Lee and Michael spoke with Williams along with a couple of the Panthers stars, getting the player perspective on the game as well.
We will be at Cottage Hill on Friday, September 19 before heading out to St. Paul’s next week for another edition of the Dr. Christopher Mullenix High School Gameday!
