The Opening Kickoff was on the road on Friday morning for our third stop on WNSP’s 2025 Dr. Christopher Mullenix High School Gameday Series, this time marking the third week of the season!
We headed out to Daphne High School to talk to longtime head coach Kenny King about his team, what he has seen from their impressive 2-0 start, and of course their huge game on Friday night to kick off region play against the Mary G. Montgomery Vikings.
Mark, Lee and Michael spoke with King along with a couple of the Trojans stars, getting the player perspective on the game as well.
Next week’s edition takes place at Spanish Fort High School ahead of their huge 6A Region 1 game against Saraland!
