The Opening Kickoff hit the road on Friday morning for WNSP’s third stop on the 2024 Dr. Christopher Mullenix High School Gameday Series!

Mark, Lee, and Michael stopped by Mary G. Montgomery High School in Air Sports One to talk to Vikings coaches, players, administrators, and everyone in between ahead of the massive game on Friday night against Gulf Shores in what will be the first-ever meeting between these two teams!
We were joined by Vikings head coach Zach Golson, who helped lead the Vikings all the way to the state semifinals in Class 7A last season after an undefeated regular season and a massive year from quarterback Jared Hollins. Hollins also stopped by Air Sports One to chat about his time at South Alabama so far along with wide receiver Jaiden Smith who also recently committed to South and left tackle John Stephens:
