Chosen Rosen chose wrong

UCLA junior quarterback Josh Rosen has been dubbed The Chosen One or The Rosen One since he committed to the Bruins out of St. John Bosco High School in Southern California.
But lately, Rosen has chosen to turn his back on his college teammates and on the NFL franchise that hasn’t even drafted him yet.

Josh Rosen needs to Tighten Up before his reputation is completely demolished.

Rosen announced last week that he wouldn’t play in tonight’s Cactus Bowl against Kansas State.
People have said that Rosen is following in the footsteps of Leonard Fournette and Christian McCaffrey, who skipped their team’s bowl game to prepare for the NFL draft at the end of last season.

The difference is that those two guys at least had a stated goal for quitting on their college teammates.
Rosen will skip tonight’s game but has hinted that he may not declare for the NFL draft now that the winless Cleveland Browns have secured the No. 1 pick.
Yes, the Browns have had 28 starting quarterbacks since 1999 and there’s no reason to believe that pitiful trend is going to end anytime soon.

But if Rosen has chosen to desert his college team and is already rejecting his potential pro team then exactly what message is his choosing to send?
