2024 5-Star QB Julian Sayin Commits to Alabama

The Alabama Crimson Tide have landed another 5-Star quarterback from California, this time in the class of 2024 and Carlsbad High School in the San Diego area. Julian Sayin is the 34th ranked overall recruit in his class and the second-ranked dual threat QB. He chose to commit to Alabama over Georgia and LSU, joining Foley WR Perry Thompson and becoming the Crimson Tide’s fourth commitment in the class of 2024.

Alabama has been an absolute QB factory as of late, with a roster full of talented ones already behind Bryce Young in Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson, who will battle this offseason to be the starter next season. Next fall, they will have two top recruits added to the QB room as well in Dylan Lonergan of Georgia and Eli Holstein of Louisiana. Sayin will enter what will no doubt be a very heated competition just a year later.

Sayin was in Tuscaloosa for a visit during Alabama’s 30-6 victory over Mississippi State on October 22nd and commits to the Crimson Tide less than two weeks later. He has completed nearly 70% of his passes this season for over 2,300 yards and 23 passing touchdowns along with two rushing touchdowns as well. He as only thrown three interceptions. Time will tell who the QB of the future is for Alabama, but there is certainly no shortage of options in Tuscaloosa over the next few years.
