Smith has <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/politics\/stephen-a-smith-running-for-president.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">made some headlines<\/a> over the last week after saying that he would run for president while appearing on Paul Finebaum&#8217;s show, then again doubling down on the crazy thought on First Take a couple of days later with Finebaum on his show.<\/p>\n<p>While appearing on The Opening Kickoff with Mark and Lee this morning, Finebaum stated that it would be &#8220;an honor&#8221; to join Smith&#8217;s potential presidential campaign and that Smith has an ability to draw people to him that would give him a shot. He also said that while it sounds like a joke, he does not believe that Smith is joking when he says he would run if people wanted him to.
