Because Florida State coach Leonard Hamilton decided it wasn\u2019t worth the effort to keep trying to win the game until the final whistle.
\nTrailing Michigan by four, FSU\u2019s PJ Savoy missed a 3-pointer with 13 seconds remaining. Michigan got the rebound and the Seminoles decided to concede the game.<\/p>\n

Afterward, Hamilton appeared shocked that CBS reporter Dana Jacobson would even ask about the final seconds. \u201cWhat are you talking about? The game was over,\u201d was his terse response.
\nHamilton must not remember a game in his own conference this year when Virginia scored six points in the final six seconds to beat Louisville by one point.<\/p>\n

As bad as the game strategy was, Hamilton\u2019s reaction was even worse. He\u2019s a major college coach and he really thought a four-point deficit with 13 seconds left was a lost cause?<\/p>\n
