MOBILE, AL \u2013 Freshman phenom Collin Sexton propelled the Crimson Tide to an 81-63 win over No. 1 seed Auburn in the SEC Tournament Friday.<\/p>\n
Alabama came out of the halftime break on a 20-1 run to put the Tide up 51-42. Sexton put up 31 points on 10-16 shooting for the game, which is the first time an Alabama player has scored 30+ points in the SEC Tournament since 2002. Sexton\u2019s six three-pointers marks a career high for the freshman guard.<\/p>\n
Crimson Tide guard Dazon Ingram and forward Dante Hall chipped in with double figures. Alabama finished the game with 50% shooting from the field and held Auburn to 32.3%.<\/p>\n
The Auburn Tigers went without a field goal for over 10 minutes to start the second half and finished with 22 points compared to Alabama\u2019s 50 in the half.<\/p>\n
Alabama moves on to the SEC Conference Semifinals Saturday to face off against the winner of No. 4 seed Kentucky and No. 12 seed Georgia.<\/p>\n
