But a quick look at the SEC and national stats as Alabama enters its bye weekend need to be examined and appreciated.<br \/>\nThrough eight games, Alabama is winning by an average score of 43-10. Actually, the Tide has yielded only 9.8 points per game, which will be No. 1 in the country after tomorrow\u2019s games if Penn State gives up more than 12 points to Ohio State and Washington yields more than 4 points to UCLA.<br \/>\nThe 43 points scored per game is the best in the SEC by a full 5 points over next-best Georgia.<br \/>\nIn fact, despite the emergence of Texas A&amp;M, LSU and even Mississippi State, the pecking order at the top of the SEC is very clear.<br \/>\nAlabama has won each week by a score of 43-10. Georgia follows at 38-13. Then comes Auburn at 36-16.<br \/>\nGeorgia and Auburn are likely the two teams with the best chance to derail Alabama\u2019s march toward another national playoff appearance.
