Orange Beach had four interceptions on the night to pull off the victory and be able to hang on for a win that made waves around the whole state.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I thought we did a really good job all night long of limiting explosive plays,&#8221; Waldrop said. &#8220;Proud of our guys and proud of our defense, it was a fun night for sure.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Blocking an extra point in the first half allowed the defense to force Vigor to go for two late in the game and they were able to get a stop on the final play of the game to preserve the victory in what was an absolute thriller.<\/p>\n<p>Waldrop says the biggest challenge now is getting the team to move on from the win and be able to focus on the next week of games, something he has not been able to have the teaching opportunity to do much after a win against such a great opponent in his time at Orange Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the Makos are in pole position in 4A Region 1 with a huge game on the docket against fellow undefeated surprise team LeFlore this upcoming week on the road before hosting B.C.
