{"id":1183791,"date":"2025-12-30T15:06:14","date_gmt":"2025-12-30T21:06:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wnsp.com\/wordpress\/?p=1183791"},"modified":"2025-12-30T15:06:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-30T21:06:14","slug":"auburn-star-wr-cam-coleman-qb-deuce-knight-reportedly-to-enter-transfer-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wnsp.com\/wordpress\/auburn-star-wr-cam-coleman-qb-deuce-knight-reportedly-to-enter-transfer-portal\/","title":{"rendered":"Auburn Star WR Cam Coleman, QB Deuce Knight Reportedly to Enter Transfer Portal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Auburn Tigers are looking like they are going to have to\u00a0hit the reset button\u00a0as a program \u2014 another one of their players is reportedly entering the transfer portal.<\/p>\n<p>With the start of\u00a0head coach Alex Golesh, the Tigers have seen numerous players declare their intentions to enter the transfer portal over the last few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>None of them have been anywhere near as significant as the news that broke on Monday.\u00a0Star wide receiver Cam Coleman\u00a0seems to be the latest player entering the portal, according to a report from On3\u2019s Hayes Fawcett.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">NEW: Auburn star WR Cam Coleman plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Hayesfawcett3?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Hayesfawcett3<\/a> reports.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/U31NaOwnr0\">https:\/\/t.co\/U31NaOwnr0<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/4O564BRfdO\">pic.twitter.com\/4O564BRfdO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 On3 (@On3sports) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/On3sports\/status\/2005685474506019119?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 29, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Coleman \u2014 who has racked up over 1,300 yards and 13 touchdowns over the last two seasons \u2014 will instantly become the top available player in the portal and will be sought after by every team in the country looking to add a wide receiver.<\/p>\n<p>The star wideout joins fellow soon-to-be former Tigers in the portal, including Malcolm Simmons, Horatio Fields, Jay Crawford, Robert Woodyard, Kayin Lee, Ashton Daniels and numerous others. It looks like what could be a painful rebuild for Auburn really begins now.<\/p>\n<p>Not only that, but on Tuesday, news broke that rising sophomore quarterback Deuce Knight is going to be entering the portal as well, which was not exactly unexpected given that Golesh&#8217;s South Florida quarterback Byrum Brown is widely expected to come to Auburn as well.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, Golesh will supplement from the portal himself with Brown and others.
