Bryant Matthews of Auburn Undercover reports that Head Coach Gus Malzahn, Offensive Coordinator Rhett Lashlee, and Running Backs coach Tim Horton met with former Tigers commit Jovon Robinson on Wednesday.

Auburn signed the nation’s top JUCO prospect in this recent class, with receiver D’Haquille Williams, and now they’re after this year’s.

Robinson signed with Auburn back in 2012, but became the focal point of an investigation with his transcripts.

He told reporters last season that he wanted to play for Alabama, despite them not even recruiting him.

The fact that three key members of the Auburn staff met with the former recruit says that Robinson could be dusting off his old practice jersey next offseason.
