WNSP is expanding its high school football coverage to include 13 Game Day programs across the Gulf Coast this season.
Game Day will be broadcast every Friday from 6-9 a.m. with hosts Lee Shirvanian and Mark Heim. They will be in Air Sports One on the campus of the most compelling games on the Coast.
There are even two Thursday Game Day broadcasts included in the schedule.
“Our commitment to high school football reflects our station’s overall mission,” said WNSP Program Director Randy Kennedy. “We want to highlight the best the Gulf Coast has to offer and cover those athletes and events better than anyone else.”
For the opening week, the Game Day crew will be On The Hill in Spanish Fort, where the Toros will host McGill-Toolen.
Every week the Game Day broadcast will include live video streaming featuring bands, cheerleaders, students, coaches and players.
The WNSP Game of the Week will also be broadcast every Friday night from the same location on the Game Day broadcast.
Pigskin Pete returns this season to host the popular post-game show all the way until midnight every Friday night.
