Spanish Fort offensive lineman Jacob Johnson commits to Southern Mississippi

Jacon Johnson SPANISH FORT -- Spanish Fort offensive lineman Jacob Johnson committed to Southern Mississippi on Saturday night during an unofficial visit to Hattiesburg. Johnson told AL.com he felt his decision was "100 percent." "I feel great about it. It's been a long process and this was a tough decision. However, I feel like at the end of the day, this was the right choice for me" he said. According to AL.com, Johnson also had an offer from South Alabama and an interest from Auburn, Vanderbilt, and Georgia Tech, among others. Johnson is the second Spanish Fort senior to commit, joining linebacker Tre Threat who committed to Auburn. Photo courtesy of AL.com
