Tigers preseason practice schedule released

AUBURN -- The Auburn Tigers released their full practice schedule leading up to the start of the fall semester on campus Friday afternoon, according to AL.com. The Tigers are scheduled to open training camp with practices on five straight days starting Tuesday, Aug. 4. Practice will take place during the afternoon with the first day in full pads taking Aug 8, the fifth day on the schedule. Two-a-days are scheduled to take place Aug. 10 and 15. Twelve practices have also been scheduled between Aug. 4 and Aug. 17, the start of classes. The Tigers will have a break on Aug. 9 for Fan Day but will resume to the fields for four consecutive days of practices starting Aug. 10. Here are some important preseason dates to keep your eye on:

  • Aug. 4: Start of preseason camp
  • Aug. 8: First day in pads
  • Aug. 10: Two-a-day practices
  • Aug. 14: Media day with assistant coaches
  • Aug. 15: Two-a-day practices
  • Aug. 17: Classes begin
