Alabama has secured a commitment from one of the most sought after players in the country in JUCO linebacker Justin Jefferson. Jefferson, who shares a namesake but no relation to the former LSU and current Vikings star receiver of the same name, plays at Pearl River Community College in Mississippi.

Jefferson is the eighth commitment for the Tide in the class of ’23 and the first linebacker prospect. Standing at 6’3″ and 210 pounds, Jefferson runs an insane 4.34 40 yard dash and chose the Crimson Tide over Texas A&M, Florida, Ole Miss, and others.
He will graduate in from PRCC December and likely be enrolled at Alabama early by January. Although Alabama currently has the 22nd ranked class for 2o23, momentum is starting to build and you can expect them to quickly rise in these rankings.
