Tim Taylor (Pigskin Pete) started his coverage of High School football on WNSP in the fall of 1994.   The name ‘Pigskin Pete’ came from a childhood favorite, a tribute to the late Pete Calabro (Pigskin Pete), radio sports announcer on the former WRFS/FM (Alexander City, Al) in the 1970′s.   Timalso covered High School Football in LaGrange, Georgia on WTRP Radio, AM620, from 1987-1990.  He also worked at TV33 (LaGrange, Ga) from 1990-1993 where he served as play-by-play during the LaGrange High Grangers 1991 season when they finished 15-0 and voted #1 according to USA Today.
