WNSP Advertising Opportunities
WNSP 105.5 went on the air in September of 1993 and is Mobile’s only 24 hour total sports station. WNSP broadcasts live morning and afternoon local sports shows and is affiliated with ESPN Radio, Sporting News Radio, PGA Tour Radio, and CBS Radio Sports. WNSP carries hourly news from CNN News daily at the top of the hour. WNSP also carries CBS MarketWatch in morning drive and also at 11:50 am and again at 3:50 pm for the closing wall street report.
WNSP is a community sports station that currently has 13 fulltime employees and has local tie ins with reporters from the Mobile Register and the local television stations. WNSP’s target audience is males from 25-64 years of age with almost equal distribution of people from 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, and 55-64. WNSP reaches about 34,000 persons each week with women comprising 20% of the audience. WNSP’s listeners are highly educated professionals with household incomes in excess of $75,000.
WNSP currently carries the play by play broadcasts of Auburn Tigers football and basketball, New Orleans Saints football, South Alabama basketball and baseball, and local high school football. In addition WNSP carries local shows that cover the Southeastern Conference with emphasis on Alabama and Auburn. WNSP also carries shows that feature Golf, Hunting and Fishing, Nascar, and prep sports.
