It has been one of the most random recruiting developments from a local standpoint, involved Bayside’s Johnathan Walton.
He was a South Alabama and Penn State target for most of the 2012 season, but has since been on the SEC radar with South Carolina and Auburn.
Walton came in the wave of targets for the new Auburn coaching staff, and South Carolina’s Steve Spurrier actually made a visit to the Daphne area.
