Just when Auburn thought they were going to have the last words with the Nation’s no.2 recruit, someone else showed up to the party.
Michael Carvell of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Carl Lawson took an unofficial visit to the Georgia Tech campus with his father, a former Yellow Jacket player, to catch up with former Auburn defensive line coach Mike Pelton. CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL STORY
Since the change-over with the Auburn staff, Pelton has picked up a job as the defensive line coach with Georgia Tech.
With less than a week away from National Signing Day, Lawson will have a lot to think about during this weekend’s visit to Auburn. As of right now, Tennessee, Clemson, and Georgia Tech are also in the running for his services.
