Week 10 Recap (Nov 2nd)-
The final games of the regular season took place last Friday night, now we move on to the playoffs. McGill Toolen capped off a perfect season blasting Sumter Central 51-0 and the Jackets finish 10-0 for only the third time in school history. Meanwhile, the St. Paul’s Saints finished the season at 8-2 capped off by a easy 38-8 win over arch rival UMS Wright. The Saints now move on to face Eufaula on the road in the first round.
1st Round Playoffs (Nov 9th)- Should be a fantastic slate of first round games this week as a number of our locals schools start the road hoping for a trip to the Super 6 held in Auburn this year. McGill, who is ranked #2 in class 6A, will face Enterprise over at Archbishop Stadium in Mobile. Tink Wilkinson will be reporting ‘live’ during our broadcast as the Jackets try to stay unbeaten. Also, WNSP will have a great matchup between #6. Davidson and Fairhope. Davidson’s QB Cam Jackson, who has rushed for over 1,100 yards faces off with Fairhope all-state QB Nate Andrews. Tim Finigan and Howard McCain will have the call starting at 6:50pm on WNSP.
