Week 8 Recap: (Oct 19)
The Vigor Wolves pulled a surprise last Friday night as they traveled to St Paul’s and defeated the Saints 20-17. This creates a 3-way tie in the 5a/1 region standings with Vigor, St Paul’s, and Spanish Fort all sitting at 5-1 in region play. Mobile Christian suffered its first loss this season falling to Washington County on the road last week. Mobile Chr. can still stay on top of the region standings by defeating Sweet Water Friday night.
Week 9 Big Games: (Oct 26)
Where do we start here? So many key games in the area that have playoff implications. The game we broadcast on WNSP features #2 MCGill Toolen (8-0) facing Murphy (5-3). The Jackets have already locked up a Region Championship in 6a/1, while Murphy is still fighting to get in the playoffs. Murphy fell to Bryant last week 29-28.
