Week 7 Recap (Oct 12th)
Mobile Christian just refuses to lose– The Leopards moved to 7-0 this season defeating Millry 14-12. Mobile Christian scored with just 2:00 left in the game and held on for the 2 point win. They will try to stay unbeaten as they travel to Washington Country Friday night for a big game in Region 2a/1. Murphy moved to 5-2 as they defeated Baker 35-21 last Friday night. Baker just needs one more win to secure its first winning season in 23 years.
Week 8 Big Games (Oct 19th)
WNSP will broadcast a big game in Region 1, Class 5a Friday night as Vigor travels to St Paul’s. The Saints are 5-0 in region play while Vigor suffered its first region loss last week to Spanish Fort. The Wolves are 4-1 in the region. St Paul’s has won the last two games in this series including a 10-8 win in 2011.
