Week 4 Recap:
Senior QB Jason Smith had one of his best career games at McGill as he rallied his Jackets to a 29-28 win over Davidson last Friday night. The Auburn verbal QB had 3 TD passes and 1 TD run in the win. #4 McGill now takes full control in region 6A/1 and faces Daphne in a 6A top 10 matchup this Friday night. BLOUNT knocked off Murphy 24-14 behind an incredible night by QB Quinterrious Toppings as he led the Leapords with 17 for 17 passing in the win.
Week 5 Game of the Week:
A Top 10 matchup in 6A takes place here on the Gulf Coast as #4 McGill battles #9 Daphne. This is a non-region game but features two top QB’s. McGill will feature Sr. QB Jason Smith who has been dominate for the Jackets all season. Daphne is led by Sr QB TJ Fleeton (La Tech), who threw 3 TD passes two weeks ago against Foley in the come from behind win.
