It was a disappointing moment for Alabama fans when one of the Fab 4, Jalston Fowler, went down Saturday with a knee injury.
”It’s going to take a number of people to replace him in the various roles that he played” says Head Coach Nick Saban.
Fowler left in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game against Western Kentucky.
The Mobile native played multiple positions including: running back, full back, and H-back.
Fowler is expected to undergo season ending surgery, but a set date is unknown at this time.
Luckily the injury was not directly related to his ACL and he is eligible for a medical redshirt to retain a year of eligibility.
