Week 2 Surprise Team last week:
FAITH ACADEMY: The Rams rallied in the 4th Quarter to defeat Gulf Shores 42-38 for a key region win. QB Malik Rozier drove the Rams down the field for the winning score late in the 4th Qtr. Rozier passed for over 200 yds and 3 TD’s. Faith finished 1-9 last season and is under first year coach Rusty Mason. The Rams will travel to Leflore this Friday night.
Week 3 Game of the week:
Foley @ Daphne: This could be determine who is in the drivers seat in 6A/Region 2 — The Foley Lions are off to a 2-0 start under head coach Todd Watson. The Lions have defeated Bryant and Robertsdale to start the season and are led on defense by Alabama verbal Darious Page. The Daphne Trojans bounced back last Friday night with a win over Baldwin County 49-21. Daphne lost the season opener to Spanish Fort 20-14. They are led by Sr. QB TJ Fleeton. Fleeton has La. Laf. as his top school of interest.
