BATON ROUGE – A grand jury reached a decision Wednesday night on second-degree battery charges against LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson and reserve linebacker Josh Johns relating to an Aug. 19 bar fight.
Jefferson’s charges have been reduced to simple battery, a misdemeanor. Johns will not be charged.
The initial charges were a felony.
