TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — Charlie Sheen landed in Tuscaloosa this morning to survey tornado damage. He has made appearances with Mayor Walt Maddox.
Rocking a white University of Alabama hat, the self-proclaimed warlock is in Tuscaloosa to bring awareness and relief to those affected by the April 27, 2011, storms that swept through the city and state.
Sheen wrote the following his Twitter feed last night: “Alabama; Heading your way. On a recon mission. My Cadre right behind me. You need help. I’m bringing it. DogSpeed. c.”
Sheen told Fox 6 Birmingham that he wants to use his celebrity status for a positive and is brainstorming on ways to provide relief to the area, including holding a celebrity softball game and asking his Twitter followers to make donations.
