The No. 1 team in the BCS just moved up a spot in this week’s coaches’ poll.

Auburn jumped Boise State and is now ranked second in the USA Today/Coaches Poll released Sunday.

Auburn stayed No. 3 in today’s AP poll, but closed the gap on No. 2 Boise there.

In the coaches poll, the Tigers received four first-place votes following Saturday’s 51-31 win over Ole Miss.

Auburn received two first-place votes in the AP poll.

Oregon is still No. 1 in both polls.

The coaches poll, a computer survey and the Harris Interactive Poll make up the three elements in the BSC standings. The AP poll is not involved.

The BCS standings will be released tonight.

Auburn leads six SEC teams in the coaches poll. Auburn is second, followed by Alabama at fifth, LSU at 11th, South Carolina at 17th, Arkansas at 19th and Mississippi State at 21st.
