C.J. Bennett threw three touchdown passes, and Lawson McGlon hit four field goals to lead undefeated South Alabama to a 39-34 win over Georgia State on Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in front of more than 23,000 fans.
The Jaguars, who have two games remaining this season, ran their record to 8-0 on the year (15-0 in their two-year existence). Georgia State, coached by former Alabama coach Bill Curry, falls to 5-4.
