Cory Luckie, Auburn’s Friday night starter for much of the SEC season, will start the Tigers’ NCAA regional opener against Jacksonville State.

That’s the word from Auburn coach John Pawlowski, who spoke to reporters after practice at Plainsman Park on Tuesday.

Pawlowski said he expected Brian Fletcher (bruised hand) and second baseman Trent Mummey (quadriceps) to be ready for the NCAA regional. Fletcher planned to take batting practice Tuesday, while Mummey was more limited.
